A Hundred Years from Now
“A Hundred years from now…
…it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. The world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”
Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and you’ll make a lasting impact on a child who needs you. You’ll help make sure they are safe and their needs are being met. You’ll update the family courts on the child’s wellbeing and make recommendations about what happens in their case. All in 10-15 hours a month.
You can do this. We’ll show you how!
Every year, in Passaic County alone,
approximately 350 children are removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect
Foster care is a terrifying experience for a child, and one they shouldn’t have to go through alone.
Attend one of our upcoming live volunteer information sessions to learn how you can make a difference in the lives of these children as a CASA. During the information session, participants will learn about the Passaic County CASA volunteer program, the foster care system, CASA training, and how CASA volunteers change lives.
All information sessions are held safely and conveniently through Zoom.
If you are unable to attend the above information sessions but want to remain informed about future sessions, or have any other questions, please email us at training@passaiccountycasa.org.
