Family Connection’s mission is “Growth happens here every day.  With our counseling, skills-building, and prevention services, people take control of their own healing and foster connections so that our entire community thrives”.  This occurs through Supportive Visitation Services, and CASA is a connection that is needed in order for the community to thrive.  Through visitation, Family Connection partners with families, resource families, DCPP, the courts, and community partners to provide the family with supports towards their permanency goal.  This presentation will review the Family Connections visitation model, how visitation is the biggest factor in achieving timely permanency, and how services and connections can help the family to move forward from their trauma.
