About this Event

Medically fragile children in foster care are a particularly vulnerable population that require specialized interventions to ensure their safety and well-being. This training will provide attendees information on how to best serve children who have significant and complex medical needs. Topics will include how to create individualized treatment plans for the children and caregivers, educational and medical advocacy, available services, and permanency planning. Attendees who will benefit most from this training include foster care, licensing, and adoption staff.
