  • Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID-19 website for the latest official news about the outbreak, including how it is spread, symptoms, treatment and prevention, what to do if you become sick, and frequently asked questions.

  • Visit the State of New Jersey Official COVID-19 website for information and resources for individuals, schools and businesses, healthcare professionals, and state employees.

IF YOU SUSPECT YOU OR A LOVED ONE IS SICK:

  • If you are concerned that you may have COVID-19 (Coronavirus) you should CALL your primary care physician or urgent care. They will instruct you on what you should do based off of your symptoms and scenario. If you are having difficulty breathing you should call 9-1-1.
    If you have a medical emergency and need to call 911, notify the operator that you have or think you might have, COVID-19. If possible, put on a facemask before medical help arrives.

  • Atlantic Health Systems Hotline 862-260-3199 - Atlantic Health System is launching a COVID-19 public hotline designed to assist members of the community who are concerned that they or a loved one may have been exposed to or have symptoms of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The Coronavirus (COVID-19) Nurse Screening Hotline is staffed by trained Atlantic Health System nurses who will triage calls from patients and help guide their next steps in seeking care. Callers with clinical symptoms of concern or travel/exposure concerns will be connected with a physician to assist in evaluation and triage. The hotline will initially operate seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • St Joseph's University Medical Center’s Covid Hotline 973-754-3177 - The hours are 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. for general questions and screening information. To reach the ER or for information outside of those hours, they ask that you call each hospital’s main number:

  • Hackensack-Meridian Healthcare - Hackensack-Meridian Healthcare is offering $20.00 telemedical visits for any NJ resident regardless of insurance status with coupon code HMH20. The CDC, recommends that patients at risk for COVID-19 who are not yet showing symptoms or have mild symptoms be evaluated virtually before going to an urgent care facility, doctor’s office or emergency department.
