MLK, Jr. Day of Service
Make your day off a “Day ON” for CASA!
In 1983, the birthday of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was declared a federal holiday. In 1994, Congress designated the day as a national day of service. We invite you to mark this day by helping Passaic County Court Appointed Special Advocates and children in foster care. Here’s how you can!

Help Publicize CASA
Spend an hour this Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at Passaic County CASA! Learn more about the child welfare system and how you can help. Then participate in a short service project assembling toiletry kits for children in foster care. Feel free to bring any travel sized toiletries you would like to donate and/or zippered toiletry pouches. Open to ages 16+.
Morning Session: 11AM
Afternoon Session: 1PM
We need your help publicizing CASA! The more people who know about us the more children we can serve. Can you help us post flyers on bulletin boards in your neighborhood and towns throughout Passaic County?
In your church?
In your school?
In your favorite coffee shop?
In your library?
In your grocery store?
We can email or mail you flyers, or you can come to the CASA Office and pick up them up. We also have standing table tents that are perfect for restaurants and banks. We’d love your help approaching businesses and asking if they would put them out.
