This webinar will discuss the physical, emotional, and psychological impact violence exposure has on youth and children. Reviewed will be youth’s perspective of community violence and the lasting impact violence in the community can have on one’s health, well being, sense of safety and the impact violence has on a community. To finalize, we will discuss theories to decrease community violence, and strategies for guardians, school staff, and community members to be more trauma informed and sensitive.
