Bullying and Cyberbullying 101

Description: This webinar will highlight and describe different types of bullying to include cyberbullying. Participants will understand the impact of bullying on the youth they serve and will be able to present assistance and advocate on their behalf. Individuals who engage in this learning experience will learn about perspectives of bullying observed by diverse professionals. Each participant will leave more knowledgeable of bullying, warning signs, risk factors and how it affects youth and their mental health.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the course, participants will:

1.      Be able to define bullying to include cyber bullying.

2.      Learn how bullying impacts youth.

3.      Learn how to assist and advocate for youth who experience bullying.

4.      Obtain resources to provide to the youth and families they serve.

5.      Be better able to advocate for mental health needs of young children in the child welfare system
