Group seeks to protect abused children
Friday, August 22,
Wayne, NJ – Skip the stamps and ditch the ballpoint pens. Applying to Passaic County Court Appointed Special Advocates just became a lot easier.
In an effort to increase its capacity to be able to serve a larger percentage of the county’s abused and neglected children, CASA announced it has developed a volunteer application that can be submitted online.
The questions are the same; the avenue for submitting an application is all that has changed.
Visit www.passaiccountycasa.org to apply to be a volunteer advocate.
Those who prefer to go the pen-and-paper route can download the word version of the application from the same page.
For 7 years, Passaic County CASA has strived to protect every abused child’s right to live, learn and grow in the embrace of a loving family. Volunteers are thoroughly screened and participate in a 36-hour training program.
