During the Fall 2016 Semester, the William Paterson University Audio and Radio Production class (Comm 2250), partnered with CASA on a class project to produce radio public service announcements for the purpose of assisting in the recruitment of CASA volunteers to speak up for more youth in our local foster care system. Together, the talents of these media students working to share the mission of CASA in a radio ad resulted in a great partnership!
Each of the class groups were responsible to develop their own script and ad with the goal of attracting potential CASA volunteers to contact Passaic County CASA. The 30 second ad deemed to be the best by CASA staff was given a place of regular rotation on the William Paterson "Brave Radio" 88.7 FM. Check out the great work these students did to help promote CASA and provide a voice for youth in foster care through their professional development in the field of audio production!
