A Call for Board Members

Call for Board Members

Since 2007, Passaic County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children has been working to keep every child safe from abuse and neglect. Our goal is to mobilize all people who are passionate about children’s wellbeing, safety and best interest - to become ambassadors in the greater community. The core mission of Passaic County CASA is to champion the best interests of children in the child welfare system.

The Passaic County CASA Board of Trustees provides organizational governance, leadership, and vision, maintains high ethical standards in accordance with the organization’s values, engages in effective planning to respond to the needs of children, and acts as wise stewards of the organization’s resources.

In the last three years, Passaic County CASA has experienced exponential operational growth, which has enabled its capacity to provide advocacy to every child in Passaic County’s foster care system and launch the New Jersey Safe Babies Court Team program in Hudson, Essex and Passaic counties.
